Three ways to use Braided Oval dies | Natasha Valkovskaya

Three ways to use Braided Oval dies | Natasha Valkovskaya

Hello, crafty friends! Happy Friday! Today I have three ideas how to use Braided Oval dies from the latest Essentials release. I also used a bunch of stamps and dies from previous releases. Let's jump right in!

My first card features Embroidered Blossoms set and the smaller Braided Oval die.

The sentiment is from Oval Foliage Wreath set. I absolutely adore this set! I also used Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die to decorate the front panel.

For my second card I die cut the big oval from white cardstock and cut out the opening inside with the smaller oval die. Then I found a matching oval die to die cut a backing for the braided oval from a piece of coloured cardstock.

Then I die cut a delicate floral border with the Spring Floral die from the same colour cardstock. The sentiment is again from the Oval Foliage Wreath set.

With my third card I stepped out of my comfort zone as it's a shaker card, and if you know me I hardly ever make shakers! This time I cut out the big oval from a piece of coloured cardstock and I left all the small pieces in.

I heat embossed the sentiment and a floral image from the Lush Greenery set in gold on a piece of acetate, and my clean and simple shaker card was pretty much complete.

Thank you for your time! Have an easy breezy Friday and a wonderful weekend! Find time for something that makes you happy!
