Hi there, Pinkfresh friends! Today we are joining in on the 30 Day Coloring Challenge fun, and are part of a super fun blog hop! Here is all the info you need!

This is Day 1 of a two day hop to celebrate the tenth 30 Day Coloring Challenge. Have you heard of “The Daily Marker’s 30 Day Coloring Challenge” hosted by Kathy Racoosin? Right now it’s in the middle of the challenge and it’s a great time to take a leap, jump in and get your feet wet!  Don’t feel like you are jumping into the middle of the challenge I hope you will think of it as a new beginning.

The premise of “The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge” is to color something everyday even if it’s for five minutes. However feel free to jump in or out as time permits.

I've chose to use some of the brand new Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors for my project today, and used them to color in our Lined Floral Background stamp set in a rainbow gradient!

The liquid watercolors make coloring super easy, and they colors are just so bright & vivid! I started by heat embossing the floral background image in detail white, and then applied a water wash over top of it.

Then I just dipped my size 4 watercolor brush into each color and dropped it on to the embossed image and let it spread out on its own.

Once I finished the rainbow watercolor treatment, I let it dry & then spritzed it down with some shimmer spray.

I layered the stamped background along with a block of white cardstock to the top of an A2 black card using foam adhesive. Then I proceeded to create the sentiment using the Word Series: Believe stamp set, and coordinating die. There was already so much color, so I chose to create the sentiment in just black & white...then I adhered it to the front.

Finally, I just accented with some of my favorites - iridescent rhinestones!

What a lovely combination of background stamp and the watercolors. I would be a little intimidated trying to do detail coloring of that whole stamp, so I think watercolor is the way to go.
