Smile and With Love | Keeway Tsao

Happy Friday friends! Working with Pinkfresh Studio products always inspire me to bring out a soft feminine look to my cards. Whilst working with some of my new inks, I thought it was perfect to find some new soft ink blending combos to bring out the delicate look of some of the standalone dies.

The first card was created using Dainty Blossoms die set. I die cut several of the flowers from the set out of white card stock with my die cutting machine while using a metal shim. Then, I blended a soft ink blended background with some pinks and yellows, and added some ink splatter.

I created offset circle frame out of white card stock to serve as a window from the flowers. Then, I added the words 'with love' from the Do all the things with love die set. I die cut these words twice in white card stock and once in gold glitter card stock and stacked them together. I added this in front of the card. Lastly, I trimmed a couple thin strips of gold glitter card stock and added it to the left side of the card to balance the layout.

My second card is made with Geo floral background die. This card can easily be replicated with any of the beautiful Pinkfresh background dies as they all have unique detailed patterns and will shine beautifully. For my card, I gave it a soft purple and pink ombre background. Then, I die cut (with a metal shim) the Geo floral background die out of white card stock and added this in front of my ink blended background.

For my sentiment, I die cut the word 'smile' with the Smile die. Similar to my first card, I die cut the word twice out of white card stock, once out of gold glitter card stock and stacked them together. I added it to the bottom right of my card.

I had bought these iridescent crystals after being so inspired by Lea Lawson's gorgeous cards. She has such a talent with adding sparkle to cards, and as I was creating this card, I was very much inspired to add them as a final embellishment. I added a few iridescent crystals around the outer border of the card to give it that final sparkle!

Thanks for joining me and have a lovely day!

Both of these cards are so beautiful! I especially love how you offset the circle on the first card – this is such an inspiration!
