Hey, crafty friends! Happy to see you here! Today I will share with you two shadow box cards featuring stamps and dies from Pinkfresh Studio newest release. Let's jump right in!
These shadow box cards were inspired by Jennifer McGuire and her awesome shadow box card tutorial. Make sure to check her YouTube channel or blog for this, because I'm not even half as good as she is at explaining all the tips and tricks!
Both cards are very simple on the outside, because the magic happens when you open them. For the front of the first card I used a sentiment and snowflakes from the Home for the Holidays set.
As you see I'm not that much of a colourer, but I like how they turned out, and I like this a bit sloppy watercolour look. The sentiment is also from the Happy Hugs set.
The second card is more earthy. I used mostly kraft for it with a bit of white and blue. This card features Lush Greenery set from our October release.
Again, pretty plain on the outside, isn't it? But when you open it...
The sentiment is from My Favorite Things to Say set, which is jam-packed with wonderful uplifting words - an absolute must-have! I stamped the sentiment in Stazon ink on acetate. I'm really happy with the soft and subtle look of this card.
Here's a video of the process for you. You can watch it here or on Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel.
Thank you very much for spending time with me! Have a fabulous day and find time for something that makes you happy!
