Sentiment as Focal Image | TaeEun Yoo

Hello Pinkfresh friends! Hope you’re having a nice week so far and staying well! It’s TaeEun here today with you sharing a couple of cards which are featuring our new sentiment stamp sets from April Release; Hugs and Good Vibes and Whole Lot of Awesome. These two sentiments in calligraphic styles are large enough to fill an A2 sized panel and can be a perfect focal image for your card!

My first card is featuring the Hugs and Good Vibes stamp set and Color Block Rainbow die.

I created the background first. I cut the Color Block Rainbow from some heavyweight cardstock to use as a stencil. I then ink blended each rainbow stripe on a Neenah solar white cardstock panel in rainbow colors. The ink colors I used are Seaside, Sky Blue, Slumber, Lavender, Soft Lilac, Ballet Slipper, Bubble Gum, Marigold, Sunshine and Grassy Knoll. After the rainbow was finished I ink blended the background in Coral Reef and Soft Lilac and splattered white ink on it.

The Hugs and Good Vibes sentiment was stamped in Stargazer. I added “AND” in Candy Violet to it and stamped the sentiment again in an embossing ink to clear heat emboss it. I then silver heat embossed the small floral elements.

I cut the panel using a Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die and foam mounted it on a light pink cardbase.

The second card is showcasing the Whole Lot of Awesome stamp set and Lemon Lush background stamp.

I white heat embossed the Lemon Lush background on a watercolor paper panel and colored it using Pinkfresh Studio Liquid watercolors. After the panel was dry I cut it with a Stitched Rectangles die and set it aside.

The Whole Lot of Awesome sentiment was white heat embossed on a piece of Vellum. I also stamped the little branches and birds on the vellum in Grassy Knoll and Sunshine respectively and clear heat embossed the images. I cut the vellum piece using a die from the Braided Tag die set and adhered it on the background panel.

I foam mounted the panel on a yellow cardbase and added some yellow Jewels to it to finish off my card.

That’s it from my side for today. I hope I could inspire you and brighten your day a little bit with my cards!

Thank you so much!
