Hello and hopefully happy Monday everyone :) !!! It's TaeEun here today with a couple of cards saying hi! To create them I used Flower Garden, Delicate Wreath stamp and Kelly Alpha Lower case die set from our August Release and Adore Alpha die and Folk Hummingbird stamp set form previous releases.
Let's take a look at the cards.
I started off by gold heat embossing the gorgeous Flower Garden image on a watercolor paper panel. Before coloring I cut out the sentiment 'HI' using Adore Alpha die , as I wanted the words to be white.
I then colored the image using Pinkfresh Studio Liquid watercolors. After I colored the flowers in Sunshine, Clementine, Bubble Gum and Lavender, and the leaves in Key Lime and Emerald, I added a light wash of Sky Blue in the background. I narrowed down the panel slightly and adhered it on a soft pink cardbase.
I gold heat embossed the outline die cut of the letters for a clearer definition. I also cut the letters from some white fun foam to raise the sentiment. To finish off the card I scattered some yellow and purple jewels.
To start off I gold heat embossed the Folk Hummingbird on some watercolor paper and colored it in Aquamarine, Sapphire and Lavender of Pinkfresh Studio Liquid watercolors and silver watercolor. I cut the hummingbird with the coordinating die and set it aside.
To create the front panel I stamped the Delicate Wreath in teal, blue and purple in an ombre style on a watercolor paper panel. I stamped the wreath again in an embossing ink and clear heat embossed it except for one area where the birds tail would be placed. I sprinkled gold embossing powder there to add a golden accent on the wreath.
I then did some watercolor wash in Sapphire and Lavender on the diagonal of the panel. I also splattered the same watercolor and gold watercolor on it. After the panel was completely dry, I dry embossed the wreath using the coordinating die and cut the panel using one of the Diagonal Stitched Rectangles dies.
I foam mounted the front panel on a navy cardbase and added the hummingbird with some foam adhesives.
The 'hi' was cut using Kelly Alpha Lower case dies from some golden cardstock and three more times from white cardstock. I stacked them all together and added it to the card. I finished off the card by scattering some navy metallic jewels.
That's it from my side for today! I hope I could inspire you with my cards :) !
Have a happy and crafty week!
