Ready for Spring | Caly Person

Hi, Friends!

This is Caly and I'm here to share two spring cards with you today using some fun sets from Pinkfresh Studio!  I know we haven't yet reached the holidays, but I'm ready for more sun and warmth already!

My first card uses the Falling For You set.  I ink-blended the background using Pinkfresh Studio's Premium Dye Inks after embossing the mountain peaks with white embossing powder.  Ink colors used:  Warm Buff, Sky Blue, Meadow, Ballet Slipper.

I colored my other images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to die-cut them.  Before adhering the images to my ink-blended panel, I used the Diagonal Stitched Rectangles to die cut my frame as well as over my waterfall image where I wanted it to sit.

Copics:
Greens:  YG61, YG63, YG67
Blues:  B0000, B00, B02
Yellows:  Y000, Y02, Y19
Pink:  R20

My second card uses the Lovely Blooms set.  It's a beautiful floral set for stamp-layering and i got to use more of Pinkfresh Studio's Premium Dye Inks!  I die cut all of my images first on an A2 sized-card panel.  I put purple tape on the back of the negative and in-lay all the images back in to hold them in place so I could stamp the layers in my MISTI with ease.

After stamping the flowers, I stamped my sentiment from the Eucalyptus Fantasy set and then die-cut it with the Basic Label Frames dies.  I used it to trace at the center of a white card panel so i had a reference for where my flowers and foliage should be.  Then I ink-blended some color using Aquamarine ink to fade out towards the edges.

Before adhering my images to my panel, I also added the stitched frame using the Stitched Rectangles dies. I cut a larger size using gold foil cardstock to frame it and adhered it to the center with foam adhesive once all my flowers and images were in place.  The last thing I did was embellish my card with some pink jewels.

I hope you enjoyed these spring cards!  Thank you all for stopping by!
