Playing Tag

Hello! It's Kelly here today sharing some springtime projects with you! With all that is going on in this crazy world right now, I set out to create a few tags to attach to some "care packages" that I could put on a few friend's doorsteps. If tags aren't your thing,I'm also sharing a card idea with you as well using the same tag idea!
To begin these three tags, including the one on the card, I die cut an assortment of Essentials: Classic tags with fillable elements. I love how easy it is to create custom tags using different combinations of the fillable elements. Each tag uses the circle tag layered onto one of the larger tags; I'm calling this "Tag Team"! LOL!
I added some shading around the edges of the larger tags using Ballet Slipper and Soft Lilac inks. I also added some ink splatter using Coral Reef ink on the pink tag and Lavender ink on the purple tag. It's hard to see in the photos, but it reminds me of speckled eggs! I used the fabulous "you've been on my mind" sentiment from the Layered Bouquet stamp set for the center of each tag and then added all of the beautiful flowers. They are from the charming Lovely Blossoms stamp set and are the perfect size to accent these tags!
I've heard from a few of my own blog readers that tags aren't something they enjoy making, but if you like the look of these tags, simply add them to a card base with a few extra details as the focal point!  For this card, I created the tag in the same way as I explained earlier.
For the background, I die cut a panel of lilac cardstock using the Essentials Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die set and stamped it using the fabulous Enchanted Blooms background stamp. I adhered that to a top folding white card base using ScorTape.
The Ornate oval Frame is attached to the purple background using foam squares. The tag is attached using additional foam squares and then I added a few more of the stamped images here and there! Of course all of the tags have a few Essentials Jewels here and there in matching colors for some added detail and sparkle! I had a lot of fun creating each of these projects! Thanks for joining me today!
