Pastel Blossoms Cards | Channin Pelletier

Pastel Blossoms Cards | Channin Pelletier

Hello friends!! It’s Channin here and today I have two springy floral cards to share!!

For my first card, I first hand stamped a background with the Lovely Blossoms Stamp Set and a rainbow of Pinkfresh inks (Coral Reef, Ballet Slipper, Peach Fuzz, Lemon Whip, Mint, Fresh Pear, Ocean Breeze, Summer Shower, & Soft Lilac). After I stamped the background I colored in some of the leaves with a copic marker to fill them in a little. I then adhered the panel onto an A2 top-folding white card base.

Next, I die cut the Leafy Envelope Die out of white cardstock. I then traced the die cut on vellum and then fussy cut the vellum envelope out. I then adhered the two together and adhered them to the card front.

Next, I stamped part of my sentiment from the Floral Vase Stamp Set in Ocean Breeze and then die cut it out with the Floral Vase Coordinating Die. I then die cut white craft foam with the same die and adhered the two together. Next, I stamped the second part of my sentiment on the envelope in Summer Shower. I then finished the card by adhering the sentiment to the card front.

For my second card, I first stamped several flowers and leaves from the Lovely Blossoms Stamp Set in the same set of colors as I did the first. I then die cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Next I die cut a white A2 panel with the Fancy Diagonal Stripes Die. I then filled a few of the stripes in the panel with the flowers and leaves. Once I had the die cuts arranged I used a few pieces of painters tape to hold everything in place and then flipped the panel over and carefully added glue to wherever the flowers or leaves touched the panel.

I then adhered the panel onto a A2 panel of vellum. Next, I adhered the panel onto an A2 top folding card base. I then popped up the flowers and leaves by adding small squares of foam tape.

Next, I stamped part of my sentiment in Summer Shower on one of the negative stripes in the panel. I then adhered it to and inlaid it into the panel. Next, I stamped the second part of my sentiment in Ocean Breeze, then die cut it out as well as a craft foam layer with the coordinating die. I adhered the two together and then adhered it onto the card front.

I hope you enjoyed!! Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
