Be Inspired

Hey Gorgeous with Rubeena Ianigro

Hey Gorgeous with Rubeena Ianigro

Hi, Pinkfresh Studio fans! Rubeena here with a set of cards that were inspired by my teammate Zsoka! She is the queen of using pattern paper in her work, and I really wanted to use the paper pad that was released in the Indigo Hills 2 collection.

I trimmed down two sheets of pattern paper in the 6x6 paper pad from the Indigo Hills 2 collection to 4.25" x 5.5" and adhered them on separate folded card bases.

For the first card, I die-cut another sheet with Folklore die. Since it's a very intricate die, I let it run through my die-cutting machine three times without lifting any of the plates. It cut perfectly! I glued this panel to one of the card bases.

I die-cut the outline die from Hey gorgeous die set using gray cardstock and the word die using gold foil cardstock. I glued them together carefully and then mounted it with gold thread over the Folklore cut. I finished it off with some gold paint splatters.

For the second card, I die-cut the words from Do all things with love die set using gold foil cardstock.

I glued the words onto the pattern paper base. I added gold paint splatters.

So easy, right? Thanks to Zsoka for this inspiration. I loved the recent release and hope this inspires you to create! Thanks so much for stopping by.

WOW, these are both so beautiful Ruby. I love the intricacy of the Folklore die, so beautiful. The second card is beautiful with the gold sentiment against the pastel background. Very nice work as always.
