Hello and happy Friday, Pinkfresh friends! It's TaeEun here today sharing a couple of cards I made using our newest background stamps and the Frame builder: Botanical rectangle die along with a layered floral stamp, Curvy Floral Vine. I titled this post "Framed" as both of my cards are featuring a frame in the design. By the way the Pinkfresh Studio monthly challenge for March is all about Frames!!!
I started off by making a green ombre background panel. I colored a watercolor paper panel in Key Lime and Emerald City Liquid watercolor in an ombre look. After the panel was dry I heat embossed the Diamond Tiles background in white on it.
I foam mounted the green ombre panel with the Diamond Tiles on the cardbase and arranged the white Leafy Branch and the Curvy Floral Vine around the oval frame as shown in the picture. I finished off the card with some yellow Crystals.
To start off I heat embossed the Lush Vines background in white on a Bristol smooth paper panel. I masked the border and ink blended in green using the Over the Hills ink set. I made two diagonal corners darker than the middle of the panel. Next I colored the leaves using Polychromos pencils and added white Pico embellisher to the tiny berries.
The leafy die from the Frame builder: Botanical rectangle die set was cut six times from some heavyweight white cardstock. I cut one side of all the die cut frames and stacked them together and made them into two thick frames. I think the shape of the leaves of the Frame builder: Botanical rectangle die goes perfectly with the Lush Vines background.
I mounted the background panel flat on a white cardbase and added the frames on the border of the ink blended area. The sentiment from Curvy Floral Vine stamp set was white heat embossed on a piece of white cardstock which I ink blended in Olive . The finishing touch for this card was some yellow Jewels.
That's it from me today. I hope I was able to inspire you with my cards.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a crafty weekend!
