Feeling Autumnal with Indigo Hills 2 | Elsie Robinson

Hey Pinkfresh fans, it's Elsie here with a couple of Autumnal layouts using the gorgeous Indigo Hills 2 collection.

This collection is perfect for this time of year. The colour palette is so fresh, vibrant and modern which is totally unlike any other Autumn-themed collection I've ever seen, it's classic Pinkfresh goodness!

For my first layout, I was inspired by the gorgeous florals on the 'Glen' paper and knew they needed to be fussy-cut!

One of my favourite products is the wreath frame from the chipboard sticker pack. Not only is it large enough to make any photograph stand out, it's also purple which is my favourite colour!

I clustered all of the fussy-cut florals around that frame along with some die-cuts from the ephemera pack. I also created my own die-cuts using some dies from my stash, with either scraps of watercolour papers (made with the PFS liquid watercolours) or patterned paper. The leaves and florals are the perfect embellishments for any of your Autumn layouts!

Now it wouldn't be right to make some Autumnal pages without talking about my coffee obsession! Autumn + Coffee = Pumpkin Spice Latters... am I right!?

For this page, I started by backing a couple of cut files with the Eminence and Gorge papers. The pumpkins can be found here and here, and the cute little coffee cup is here. I then hand-stitched around the outline of these cut files with some white thread for some texture.

Much like my last page I did some fussy-cutting and die-cutting. This time I fussy-cut the purple leaves from the Highland paper, and I used some dies with my DIY green watercolour patterned paper, created with the liquid watercolours.

Again, I used one of the frames from the chipboard stickers to pop my photo into and I also used the adorable mini alphas to spell out 'pumpkin spice' along the lip of my coffee cup.

Thanks for popping by today, and happy Autumnal crafting!

Beautiful! Love the purple in your fall designs – could we say “purple is the new orange?”
