Embroidered Blooms and Adore Alpha Shaker Card | Caly Person

Embroidered Blooms and Adore Alpha Shaker Card | Caly Person

Hi, Friends!

It's Caly with you today sharing two cards using a handful of products from the latest release!  This month's challenge is also love-themed so the second card is perfect as inspiration for you to join this month's challenge!

Let's talk about my first card using the Embroidered Blooms set!  I stamped the florals and foliage in several different ink colors. After stamping all the images, I die-cut them with the coordinating Embroidered Blooms dies.

After die-cutting, I decided I wanted to add interest to the card using Sakura Stardust Galaxy Pens to accent each image but adding more stitch lines to the images.

I ink-blended a card panel with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and die cut a a scallop boarder before arranging the images in a spray - adding foam adhesive to give the card dimension.

The sentiment is embossed and gold from a the Oval Foliage Wreath stamp set.

The second card is created using Adore Alpha Dies and Spring Floral Dies. I die-cut each of the more intricate portions in gold foil cardstock.

I also die cut the letters spelling LOVE on a white card panel to in-lay the gold foil outlines for the word.  For the halo on the Spring Floral die - I cut this piece out of light pink cardstock and ink-blended it with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink and the bottom portion of the white card panel using Tumbled Glass.

Before adhering all the pieces together, I splattered the card panel with white ink.  I added acetate to the back of the letters and in-layed the gold letters and adhered the gold spring floral die over the pink/green halo.  I finished off the card by creating the shaker portion using foam adhesive and stamped the sweet sentiment from the Heart and Soul stamp set.

Thank you all for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed these cards and hope to see you again soon!
