Cozy Christmas | Caly Person

Cozy Christmas | Caly Person

Hello, Friends!

This is Caly and I'm sharing two cards with you today with a cozy holiday theme.  If you missed our most recent release, be sure to go back and check out the new holiday release!  Today, I'm using the Cozy Christmas Wishes stamp set to create an embossed one-layer card and last year's Happy Hugs stamp set to create another card using ink pads that are coming soon!  That's right!  Pinkfresh Studio is releasing a line of ink pads coming soon!!  So this is a nice sneak peak for you if you didn't know!

Let's talk about my first card!  The Cozy Christmas Wishes stamp set is a full-panel set with a large sentiment that is framed by winter foliage.  I stamped and embossed it with gold sparkle embossing powder and then colored it with Copic markers.

Copic colors used:
Greens:  [G21, G94], G46, [G03, G19]
Reds:  R24, R29
Yellow: Y08

To finish my card, I ink-blended around the outer edges using Slumber ink.  Then, I added white gel highlights and also added clear lacquer over all the berries.

My second card uses and older stamp set called Happy Hugs.  I love these cozy friends and have been wanting to use them so this was the perfect opportunity!  The set comes with a solid stamp for the sky portion, so I used the new ink colors in Sapphire and Slumber to do a gradient.

I colored the image after stamping with Copic markers.  I stamped the "hug" sentiment first, then embossed the sentiment strip on black cardstock using white embossing powder.

Copic colors used:
Reds:  R14, R29
Pinks:  RV63, RV52, RV55
Purples:  B60, B63, B66
Teal:  BG11, BG13
Browns:  [E31, E35], [E50, E30, E31]

To finish this card, I also added white gel highlights and added clear lacquer over the heart.

I hope you enjoyed this cozy set!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

I really like how you used gold embossing powder and the white gel pen. I need to remember to try those.
