Cardmaking using Essentials:Fillable Tag with Pocket | TaeEun Yoo

Hello Pinkfresh friends! How are you doing? Hope you're having a great week so far! It's TaeEun here today with a couple of cards I made using Essentials: Fillable Tag with Pocket stand alone cuts. Using this tag die set you can create pretty tags with a pocket. The set includes also some small cut out patterns and a window die. I used this set to create two cards for today.

On the first card I used the basic tag die from Fillable Tag with Pocket  to make a simple tag.

To make the background I pulled out the beautiful Eucalyptus Fantasy washi tape and adhered it on a white cardstock. I cut a A2 sized panel from it to use as the base. I cut a tag from the panel using the tag die from Fillable Tag with Pocket  and adhered the panel on a dark brown cardbase.

To match with the colors of the Eucalyptus Fantasy washi tape of the background I ink blended a piece of white cardstock in Olive and Fresh Pear and cut the tag  from it. I also cut the same tag from some brown fun foam.

The sentiment is from Delicate Wreath stamp set. I white heat embossed it on the green tag. I placed the brown fun foam tag slightly offset on the tag-shaped window of the background and the green tag with the sentiment also a bit shifted on it. I tied a brown twine in the tag before I added it to the card.

To embellish the tag I cut Leafy Branch once from some white cardstock and once from brown shimmer cardstock and added them onto it. I finished off the card by adding three metallic jewels onto the Leafy Branch

For the second card I used the window die and a filling element of the Fillable Tag with Pocket set.

First I made a watercolored panel in Sunshine and Key Lime Liquid watercolor. I applied lots of clean water on a watercolor paper panel and dropped the watercolors on it. I moved the panel to blend the colors and used a heat tool to dry the panel. After the panel was completely dry, I cut three windows using the window die from Fillable Tag with Pocket set. I also cut the little pattern three times underneath or above the windows as shown in the picture.

I ink blended the area of a white cardbase, where the windows would be placed, in Key Lime and Sunshine dye ink.

To create the floral clusters I stamped various little flowers and leaves from Lovely Blossoms stamp set in Sunshine, Marigold, Apricot, Clementine, Grassy Knoll and Key Lime. I then cut them using the coordinating dies and set them aside.

I cut the front panel with the three windows using Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die and foam mounted it on the cardbase. I then arranged the floral clusters for each window. The sentiment is from You make a difference set that I white heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock.  I finished off the card with some yellow and green jewels

Did you enjoy looking my cards today? I hope I was able to inspire you with them.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you all a happy and crafty day!

Hugs,

I love both cards! But the green one with the washi tape is a favourite. Super pretty. And the yellow one with the flowers peaking out is such a great idea for using tags. I have never thought to do that. Very inspiring.

The yellows and greens are just GORGEOUS!!!! Two of my favorite colors…together. NICE way to show off the gorgeous flowers, too.
