Botanical Garden Card with May Park

Botanical Garden Card with May Park

Hi, crafty friends! It's May here with a couple of botanical garden themed cards featuring the Dainty Botanicals Stamp Set

For my first card, I started by adhering some patterned paper from the Be You 6x6 Paper Pack on an A2 size white card base.

Then I stamped various images from the Dainty Botanicals Stamp Set in five different ink colors on a piece of white cardstock and die cut them using the Dainty Botanicals Die Set.

Next, I stamped the word “Brilliant” from the Brilliant Stamp Set with black ink on a piece of white cardstock and die cut it using the Brilliant Die

Then I stamped the sentiment from the Believe Stamp Set with embossing ink on a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed it using some white embossing powder.

After cutting out my sentiment into a thin banner using a craft knife and ruler, I mounted the sentiment banner and die cut “Brilliant” toward the bottom of the card front using 3M foam tape.

I mounted die cut images above my sentiment using 3M foam tape. I overlapped some of the die-cuts to create some dimension and depth.

I finished off my card by applying some dots using Tonic Nuvo Crystal Glaze to add some interest around the foliages.

For my second card, I used some patterned paper from the A Case of Blahs 6x6 Paper Pack for my card panel. Which card do you like better?

That's all for today. Hope my cards inspired you to create a card using some stamped die cut images. Happy crafting!
