Bold and Bright florals

Bold and Bright florals

Hello friends! It's Kelly here today sharing a few bold and bright floral designs using some of my favorites from the new release! I love all of the beautiful new backgrounds and chose to use the Diamond Tiles and Floral Diamond background stamps for these two cards!
First up is this bold blue card that ended up with a bit of a vintage feeling that I just love. I stamped the Diamond Tiles background stamp in Aquamarine Ink onto a piece of pretty blue/green cardstock. Once that was done, I die cut the entire panel using the Diagonal Stitched Rectangles to give the edges that extra detail that I love so much!
I also added the white leaf detail around the edges using the Frame Builder: Botanical Recangle die cut. Once that was done, I got to work on the flowers and the sentiments. The beautiful floral cluster is from the Layered Bouquet stamp set
and is stamped in Sparkling Rose  and Ballet Slipper ink. The leaves are stamped in Fresh Pear and Olive ink.
I used the new Phrase Builder: you die set in both white and vellum paper for a soft look. The "You are on my heart" sentiment is also from the Layered Bouquet stamp set and is heat embossed in white onto a black strip of cardstock. The finishing touch is a splatter of metallic black/grey watercolor paint and a few Essentials: Jewels.
My second card uses the same dies around the focal panel but this time I used white ink with the Floral Diamond background. I layered some flowers onto the Mandala and then added the "hello" die cut that was created using the Sentiment Suite: Hello die using foam squares.
I couldn't resist adding the same black sentiment strip, but this gorgeous sentiment is from the Curvy Floral Vine stamp set. A few jewels finish this one off as well! I had so much fun creating these two designs! Thanks for stopping by today!
