WELCOME TO PINK FRESH STUDIO

Sweet Little Things

Posted on 25 August 2014

Little girls in fairy wings, cute cats and happy mail from a friend. Today's Pinkfresh inspiration from me, Margareta Carlsson, couldn't be sweeter.

For the layout below, I used the amazing Pinkfresh Studio kit (frame, puffy borders and die cut circle from one of the gorgeous vinyl cards). That kit is some seriously good value for your money, so grab it while you can. The embellishments will last for at least 10 layouts, if not 15, and a bunch of cards to that. And when they're gone you will still have the stamp set and craft die left to use perpetually.

The drink stamp to the left on this page is from the cute Summer Time stamp set.

I love how the bright yellow color tones and hot pink look together. Yellow is very much on trend right now, and many scrappers feel that it is a challenging color to use one pages. But, a few splashes of sunshine yellow can really brighten a layout, so I encourage you to try it!

On my second layout, I've been playing with an enamel frame (still can't get enough of those!) and different screen printed wood veneer shapes. The cut paper strips are colored vellum, except for the one at the bottom, where I used deep navy blue cardstock. I love how vellum gives a dreamy sheer touch to the pages.

Here, I've been using another on trend color combo, navy blue and lime green. Perfect to accent the amazing bright lime green eyes that my black cat had when she was young. Today she's an elegant old lady and her eyes are more deep yellow with grey age spots in them.

To finish, I made a card that I'm going to use for sending some happy mail to a scrapbooking friend. It feels great to share a few pretty goodies in my scrap stash with good friends. Again, I used the Pinkfresh studio kit (puffy borders and stamp set) and a wood veneer envelope.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Now I would love to hear about your next project? What products are you going to use? Perhaps a little something from Pinkfresh Studio? What is the theme? Colors? Please, feel free to share your paper dreams and plans in the comments. :)
