Sunday with Ashley Fowler!

I've been focusing on using a lot of pattern paper and embellishments. Therefore, I wanted to get back to a mixed media artsy fartsy lookin' page! I started with modeling paste and a stencil. Then, I used Gouache paint mixed with water for a "wash" over the dried modeling paste. The fun continued as I matted my photo and used the Pinkfresh Studio (amazing) Alpha Stamp Set for part of my subtitle. In addition, I used some of the wood-drop chevron elements, enamel frames, color-block wood veneers, and foiled alphas! I hope y'all enjoy this one.
For the second layout, I focused on a more simple, heavily embellished page without using any type of 'mixed media' process. I started with some strips of paper and sewed them down. Then added different elements from Pinkfresh Studio, such as the wood circle embellishments, wood-drop chevron pieces, enamel frames, and the puffy border stickers. I really love simple the layout is, yet how complete the overall look became! I hope y'all love this one.
