Use Your Stash!

Margareta here, with some fun fresh fall inspiration for you. I spent last weekend with good friends at the countryside, and I wanted to scrap a couple of photos from the stunningly beautiful fall landscape.

If you are like me, and I suspect that you are, you are shopping more scrapbooking products than you actually use. ;) And, if you're a Pinkfresh Studio fan, which I know that you are, you likely have a lot of Pinkfresh goodies sitting unused. Let's change that today, shall we?

For today's projects I have used all kinds of supplies from the Pinkfresh Studio shop, including the Pinkfresh Studio kit. A few items are sold out and discontinued, some are newer items that are still in stock. Additionally, I used a couple of beautiful leftovers from our Pretty Little Studio blog hop in September, where I worked with the Marigold collection.

To begin with, I had fun while using up the gorgeous coral colored gold foil alpha. I put a few of the letters with their back side up to make the title look more interesting.

The yellow umbrella is from one of the letterpressed 'Fresh press' cards that I cut down. I used the enamel frames to create a border, and filled them with wood veneer, puffy borders and brad stickers.

Glitter and washi tape worked great as a stripe pattern beside the photo. The journaling tag in the canvas tag holder is die cut from watercolor paper and painted with Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels.

On the next layout, I had already used up the 'A' letters from the lilac gold foil alpha, so I had to get creative (as you often have to be when you're using your stash) and put the '@' in the title, instead.

Another, often overlooked, part of your stash are the stamps! Bring out your stamps and use them to create a background on a white page! For this one, I used one leaf border stamp image from the 'Hello' stamp set (it's on sale!) and one word stamp from the Pinkfresh kit stamp set. I stamped in no less than 9 different ink colors and tones on this layout (Studio Calico Color Theory inks).

Additionally, I cut down an instaframe for this page, and added wood veneer and drop stickers. The instaframes are currently on sale, as well. I love those! A few banners and golden leaves from the Marigold collection, and this layout was ready to go into my album.

Let's finish with a quick card. I took a letterpressed 'Fresh press' card and decorated with drop stickers and a couple of washi tape pieces. Quick to make, but really pretty.

I hope this has inspired you to bring out your Pinkfresh Studio scrap stash and start creating! One of my own blogs is all about using your stash. It even has the name to match:! You are welcome to visit if you want more tips on how to make a dent in your scrap stash. :)
