It's the start of a new month, which means we have a new Designer Spotlight! For the month of October, we are highlighting the super talented Amanda Baldwin. Amanda is a veteran scrapbooking team member, and she has a beautiful, feminine style! We LOVE having her on the team!
How about we get to know Amanda a little better?
Hi Pinkfresh Friends! I'm Amanda-jayne (Amanda or AJ) but you might know me as @happy_arty_days! I live along the beautiful coast in sunny Adelaide, South Australia with my darling hubby, & 2 sweet children. I am a children's art teacher for the Little Picassos studios, & basically not a day passes when I'm not creating something! I LOVE all things papercraft, photgraphy or paint related! My favorite color is blue, and I only drink coffee on days ending in 'y'.
What inspired you to start paper crafting?
2 main reasons. Firstly, I have very few photographs or memorabilia from my own childhood & wanted to start documenting everything!
& secondly, the birth of my children. They inspire everything and feature in most of my scrapbook creations!
What best describes your paper crafting style?
Modern & contemporary with a feminine twist & thoughtful use of color.
What draws you to Pinkfresh Studio products?
I am not 'drawn' to Pinkfresh - I am absolutely obsessed! I love the fresh & contemporary designs and trending color schemes (perfect for my style of memory keeping!) & I love that our brand has a boutique feel when it comes to quality and attention to detail.

What is your very favorite color combo?
Ooooh, that's a tricky question as my style and tastes tend to change and evolve with the seasons! But... I do particularly love Indigo blue with baby pink, mint & gold accents.
What is one tip you have for someone just getting started in paper crafting?
Enjoy the process! Expressing your creativity should be fun :)

Do you have a past favorite project you've created with Pinkfresh Studio product that you'd like to share? Why is it your favorite?
Sure! This layout is from back in February, and features our fabulous The Mix No.2 collection. I adore how fresh this looks for Summer, and the way I've coordinated the embellishments to partner with the rainbow heart.
