Sending Love and Hugs | Caly Person

Hi, Friends!

This is Caly - I'm so glad you can join me today!  I'm sharing a pretty card using the Sending Love and Hugs set and pairing it with one of my favorite backgrounds from a previous release - the Diamond Tiles!

I began by stamping the Sending Love and Hugs image in my MISTI.  I find that die-cutting helps with alignment for bigger layered images like this.  I used the following colors:  Berrylicious, Coral Reef, Olive, Key Lime.  I sponged on the darker green to give the leaves more dimension too.

I then stamped my background using the Coral Reef ink and softened it with a piece of vellum.  I used Distress Collage Medium to adhere the vellum down - dotting it in the white space and it didn't show up through the vellum at all.  

I attached my stamped image at the center of my panel using foam adhesive to give it dimension, then finished by embossing my sentiment and added a few Jewels.
