Painted Daisies - Copic Coloring | TaeEun Yoo

Painted Daisies - Copic Coloring | TaeEun Yoo

Hello Pinkfresh friends! Hope you're having a great week so far! It’s TaeEun here today with a floral card featuring the Painted Daisies set. I colored the bunch of flowers using Copic markers and placed it on a background panel that was created with the Dainty Plaid product suite from the July 2022 Release.

I started off by stamping the Painted Daisies in Detail Black ink on Neenah solar white panel. Detail Black is a hybrid ink that is Copic- and watercolor-friendly!
I had a blast coloring the image using Copic markers. Below are the Copic colors I used.

Large daisies : RV000, RV02, RV13, RV25, RV 29
Yellow flowers : Y00, Y02, Y08, Y17, YR04
Small daisies : RV000, RV34, RV63, RV66
Leaves : YG01, YG21, YG03, YG17, G29, YR23. I added light brown highlight to the leaves using YR23.

Once done with the coloring I cut the image using the coordinating die and set it aside.

To create the soft background I first white heat embossed the Dainty Plaid on a Neenah solar white panel. I cut the center of the panel with the large Blanket Stitched Oval die and stenciled the negative panel in Lemon Whip and Fresh Pear using the coordinating stencil set.

The background panel was foam mounted on a white cardbase. The Painted Daisies was then added to the center of the card using two layers of foam tape for dimension. The sentiment is from the Pears and Pomegranates set. I stamped it in Detail Black and die cut it. I cut a small heart using the Shaker Heart die from vellum and matted it for the sentiment.

The finishing touch for this card was a few Sunshine Jewels.

That’s it from me for today. Hope you enjoyed looking my card!

Wishing you a crafty day!
