Happy Holidays Circle Frame | TaeEun Yoo

Hi Pinkfresh friends! Hope you’re having a great week! It’s TaeEun here today with a holiday card featuring Happy Holidays Circle Frame set and Poinsettia set from the latest release!
I no line colored the poinsettia clusters and decorated the Happy Holidays Circle Frame with them!

I started by stamping the Poinsettia on Canson watercolor paper panel in Peach Fuzz. I then watercolored the small poinsettias and branches. The poinsettias were colored in pink (Hello Purple) and red (Rubin Red and Bordeaux) and the leaves in blue (Phthalo Blue) and Aqua green. After the poinsettia clusters were dry I cut them using the coordianating die and set them aside.

The Happy Holidays Circle Frame image was heat embossed in silver on a Neenah solar white panel. To make the poinsettias pop I wanted to keep the Happy Holidays Circle Frame rather subtle. So I stenciled the leaves from the image in Sky Blue and Misty Coast and the berries in Bubble Gum using the coordinating stencil set. After stenciling I cut the Happy Holidays Circle Frame using the coordinating die.

For some shine I adhered a pearl shimmer cardstock panel on a white cardbase and foam mounted the die cut Happy Holidays Circle Frame on it. Unfortunately the shimmer is so hard to capture in a photo.

Next I arranged the poinsettia clusters on the frame as shown in the picture by adding them using foam adhesives. The sentiment is also from the Happy Holidays Circle Frame set. I silver heat embossed the sentiment on some pearl shimmer cardstock and cut it with the coordinating die.

Some Metallic Silver Pearls on the center of the poinsettias and around the sentiment were my finishing touch!

I love how this card turned out. The stenciled background in soft colors makes an elegant backdrop for the watercolored poinsettias!

Hope you like my card too :) !

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a crafty day!

Nobody brings a bloom to life more beautifully than you, TaeEun! Loving the pale blue you’ve added to the frame – yes, I do mean that!
