Happy TWOsday, everyone!!! Hope you’re doing well and having a nice week! It’s TaeEun here today with a floral Thanks card featuring Art Deco hot foil plate, Beautiful Blooms and Fancy Script Words hot foil plate from the January Release. To frame the flowers I used the Stitched Scallop Square die set.

The Art Deco background was made using the negative gold foil left after I hot foiled the actual Art Deco pattern for another card. The Solid Hot Foil plate makes it possible and I absolutely love it!!!

The flowers from the Beautiful Blooms set was heat embossed in gold. I watercolored the sweet little flowers instead of using the coordinating stencil set. After the coloring was done I cut them using the coordinating die and set them aside.

After I adhered the hot foiled background panel on a white cardbase, I cut two Stitched Scallop Square frames from some white cardstock. I foam mounted the larger one on the card slightly tilted and cut off the excessive parts. In order to give a small solid backdrop to the flowers I adhered a piece of vellum on the back of the smaller Stitched Scallop Square frame and added it to the card with two layers of foam tape. I then arranged two floral branches on the frame.

The sentiment was hot foiled using the Fancy Script Words hot foil plate in gold and cut with the coordinating die.

To add some golden bling I scattered the Gold Metallic Pearls and the card was finished!

That’s it from me for today. Hope you enjoyed looking my card!

Thanks for stopping by!

OH so very pretty, TaeEun! I even like how you snuck in that little slip of vellum! I have those sweet little blooms on my list, my friend!
I’m just now getting better results with my hot foiling – but never have I ever gotten such a clean and perfect foiling with that negative! Back to the drawing board!
