Good morning! Heather Hoffman here with a trio of cards featuring the lovely Modern Mandala Die used 3 different ways, and paired up with some of the beautiful Pinkfresh Liquid Watercolors in Aquamarine, Sapphire, and Emerald City!
These were so fun to create - I just can't get enough of these beautiful watercolors! I have added sentiments from Aviary and Folk Tree Stamp sets as well - I love some of the unique sentiments in Pinkfresh's stamp sets!
For my first card, I die cut the Modern Mandala from watercolor cardstock, and laid it over the top of another panel of watercolor paper. I then applied liquid watercolors to color the die cut pieces, while simultaneously creating a stenciled reverse background! I added a sentiment for this card from Folk Tree Stamp Set.
Next up - this card uses the piece that I watercolored as a stencil for the previous card:
I added a sentiment from Aviary for this card on a thin strip of black cardstock. I adhered them together, then used sturdy adhesive just behind my sentiment to attach the entire thing to my card front. This leaves it a bit free floating and adds some whimsy and fun dimension to the card front.
And finally, for this last card I die cut the Modern Mandala Die from white cardstock, and then created a watercolor background to mount it over.
For this card I also used a sentiment from Aviary, and adhered it the same way as the previous card.
I hope this has shown you how fun and versatile the Modern Mandala Die is! And there are SOOO many more ways to use it as well!
