Hello crafty friends! Today I'll be sharing a pair of cards showcasing the Fruitastic set! This is such a cute and whimsical set that is super easy to use to create fun, quick cards.

With solid fruit images, I love to bring it to life with some ombre inking or wet stamping, both techniques I will share with you today. For my first card, I used wet stamping to give me a faux watercolor look and be able to bring in varied colors.

I used the peach and orange images and stamped them randomly onto a piece of watercolor paper. For each stamping, I would apply some distress ink, spray it with water using a mist spray bottle, and stamp down. I'd do it again to add some additional colors.

Once the images were dry, I then went back and stamped all the stems with black versafine ink. I also used my black copic multiliner to add a few dots to my oranges. I added some ink splatter with my distress inks.

I heat embossed the large 'thank you' from the Bloom stamp set, in white onto black card stock. I trimmed it down to a thin strip and gave it one slanted edge. Right below where I planned to adhere this, I also stamped a secondary sentiment from the Fruitastic set, to tie it back to the fruity theme. The sentiment strip was lastly added with foam tape.

This next one is clean and simple. This time around, I used one of the beautiful pattern paper from the Let Your Heart Decide collection. It matched beautifully with my pair of strawberries.

The dies for the strawberries are closed, so I die cut it first, and then stamped. The strawberries were stamped with dye inks, and given a little ombre inking to give it a little more depth.

I die cut a circle opening out of the pattern paper. Behind it I added another layer of white card stock that I gently blended with some distress oxide inks. I added some foam tape between the layers and the strawberries. And lastly, I used the sentiment from Floral Frame stamp and die set to add below the strawberries. Thanks for joining me today!
