Elena here, with a one-layer floral number, using the images from Always Flowers.
I stamped the corner floral arrangements into all 4 corners and then very carefully masked them off (I cut 2 layers of masking paper so save time) and stamped in the longer, flat floral cluster.
I originally wanted to fill in the spaces on the left and right sides, but it looked too cluttered. I like the breathing room that it leaves, in only stamping at the top and bottom.
The sentiment that I used is from Bird With Flowers - I just love that font!
Once everything was stamped, I used copic markers to color the flowers in fresh, springtime colors. I then used a light blue marker to trace around the flowers. I used a colorless copic marker (0) to lighten the blue, and haze it out a bit.
As a final touch, I flecked on some light brown ink.
Whenever I do a one-layer card, I feel like those little touches make the card look a little more impressive and pulled-together.
I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by.
