Happy November! It's May here today with a one-layer holiday card. I’m a big fan of mixing small images from different stamp sets when it comes to the one-layer card.
After stamping the sentiment from the Simple Joy stamp set in the middle of my A2 size white card panel, I stamped the images with an alcohol marker friendly black link along the outside of the oval frame.
FYI, I used the masking technique to add some dimension and interest to my one layer card.
Then I colored my images with Copic markers in a vintage-themed color combo. I didn't add any shades to my images to enhance a graphic look of my card design.
I finished off my card by adding some dots with a white gel pen and some shimmer with a glitter brush pen.
I made a video tutorial to show you how to make my one layer holiday card from start to finish. You can watch it below or in HD on YouTube.
I hope my card inspired you to create a one layer card by mixing small images. If you have any questions, please leave comments below and I would be happy to answer them for you.
That's all for today. Thank you so much for stopping by today. Happy crafting!
