Dainty Blossoms | Rubeena Ianigro

Dainty Blossoms | Rubeena Ianigro

Hello, Pinkfresh Studio fans! Today, I am featuring the Dainty Blossoms die set. This set is so gorgeous that you can simply die-cut it and use without coloring. However, for today's cards, I went back to messy watercoloring and using different card base colors for unique looks.

I started by die-cutting Dainty Blossoms die set from watercolor paper. I did loose watercoloring on all the pieces in shades of yellow, purple and green. Once they dried, I added some white and black paint splatters.

I tape down some double-sided adhesive on my card bases and then arranged the colored dainty blossoms over the tape. I did this so I didn't have to glue down the entire delicate cuts. This also gives it some dimension since the flowers aren't flat against the base.

I stamped the sentiments from My Favorite Things to Say with clear embossing ink and heat-embossed with white embossing powder on both black cardstock and kraft cardstock for different looks. I trimmed them down and mounted them over the flowers to cover where the double-sided adhesive was. I finished it off with some gems. Which one is your favorite? There are so many possibilities with this die set. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love these cards! The dainty little flowers really pop on the white and black backgrounds. And the sentiments are great, too!

Love both but if had to choose..I would pick the white one because looks like my grandmother’s embroidery.

Beautiful cards. Love the texture of the watercolor paper with these dies and your painting results in truly eye-catching cards. The gems look like water drops….so pretty. I like both cards, but I think I like the white background best.
