Clean layouts with layers and a good story - that's my kind of page! I used the scaled down patterns of the 6x6 Life Noted pad to create a frame for one of my favorite photos.
TThe acetate die cut words are perfect for bold titles with just a little transparency.
A few scattered embellishments diagonally placed, ties all of the patterns together and completes this clean and simple design.
Next, I tried my hand at some watercolored cards using the Pinkfresh Studio stamps. I am a total beginner at making cards and watercolor. I followed some of the same design principles that I use in scrapbooking to come up with these two clean designs.
This card was stamped with the Felicity stamp using the smallest flower image over and over. I used a clear embossing ink pad and white embossing powder to create the image. Next, I watercolored it using Ripe Raspberries and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks for a soft wash of color.
On this card I used my favorite Pinkfresh stamp with a bookshelf and sweet sentiments about reading. I stamped with Versafine ink and then used Distress Inks to fille in the books. A soft colorwash with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink highlights the words.
TCombining elements from the Felicity and Life Noted collections plus some beautiful stamps from Pinkfresh Studio, makes papercrafting fun (and easy!).
